Convocation Speaker Interest -
Greatness comes with accountability and responsibility. With that in mind I would like to charge my Spelman sisters to be responsible for change and hold each other accountable to do our part. We have all been blessed to be included in a rich legacy of sisterhood that has equipped us with a voice and power to effect change. It is time for us to make scholarship, pose, excellence, leadership and success the
popular image of black women in society again. By strengthening our identity we become a vision that younger women can and should aspire to be.
