Before Spelman, my view as a young
African-American girl, coming from a low-income single-parent household was
limited. But, I truly embraced the idea that Spelman was in fact, "A
Choice to Change the World". Spelman prepared us to enter the world with a
renewed sense of faith and hope of possibilities. I’ve travelled all over the
world, and at every stop I’ve embraced at least 1 Spelman woman. I’d love to discuss
our opportunity to recommit to each other as Spelman sisters in our path
forward to make bold moves that have everlasting impact within our communities
and afar.
